Kelly Gladen is a far-right bigot living in Vancouver, WA. She has been harassing pride events, leftists and the community at large for the last 3 years, since she moved here from the east coast and created a new identity for herself centered around being “anti-woke.” She is a close associate of the Oregon City Proud Boys (formerly known as the PDX Proud Boys), and in this article we show how, like them, Kelly is racist, militantly anti-LGBTQ and glorifies violence. And she is a main player in the group which has gotten numerous pride events in our area cancelled by intimidating them.
Kelly’s partner Derek Chambers, a private security guard, accompanies her to most of the events she attends. While he is not online in the same capacity she is, and will feature less prominently in this article, he holds the same beliefs as Kelly and they participate in their “politics” as a team.

KELLY GLADEN TERRORIZES PRIDE EVENTS
Throughout the Willamette Valley, there has been a growing trend in the past few years of pride events being cancelled in response to threats against them. These threats are almost entirely generated due to the online postings of a small handful of local chuds and instigators. They consistently make inflammatory posts online, either calling for a protest outside the event or hoping to genarate threats from their online audience. Their goal is to intimidate organizers into cancelling their event.
Kelly Gladen is a very active part of this vocal minority, along with Julie Turcol and Chelly Boufferache (a close associate of far right propagandist Andy Ngo). Recently they targeted a pride picnic that was scheduled in Molalla, which resulted in threats being made and and the event being cancelled as a result. This is unacceptable, and this article is being released in response. If this group engages in any further targeting of a pride or drag event that results in cancellation, we will release articles on Julie Turcol and Chelly Boufferache both.
KELLY GLADEN HATES LGBTQ PEOPLE
KELLY GLADEN IS RACIST
In addition being anti LGBTQ, Kelly Gladen is also a racist. Examples of this proudly posted to her Facebook include wearing blackface, mocking George Floyd’s death while celebrating Derek Chauvin, and supporting the recent racist riots in the UK.
Kelly also attempted to befriend a local neo nazi group, flattering their propaganda in their Telegram chat. She left the chat once they started ridiculing her. Rose City Nationalists were a group of nazis who tried to build a white nationalist movement in the Willamette Valley but were quickly exposed and most of them quit after losing their jobs. They reportedly only have two active members left: Child abuser Casey Knuteson and puppy abuser Jaren Huber.
PROUD BOYS
Not surpisingly, Kelly Gladen is a fangirl of the Oregon City Proud Boys and associates with them often. She promotes their events and recruits them to protest pride and drag events with her.

Just a week ago, Kelly put out a call to try and get a drag show shut down in Olympia. She explicitly stated that she contacted the Proud Boys up there to enlist their help.
KELLY GLADEN IS A BIG FAN OF VIOLENCE
Kelly asking Proud Boys to protest these events is nothing less than an attempt to intimidate with violence, and in her online posting she regularly promotes violence. She glorifies Kyle Rittenhouse and wears a shirt that says “Hospitalize your local antifa”. She jokes about running over drag queens with a car. And as previously mentioned, she also mocks the death of George Floyd and supported the recent riots in the UK. This is not just her showing her racism, it is her promoting racist violence.
Kelly extends her desire for violence against groups she hates to the LGBTQ community as well. She often calls queer and trans people “pedophiles”, and then calls for pedophiles to be killed. This is a thinly veiled call for violence against LGBTQ people.

—Jeremy Roberts (a.k.a. Jeremy Wayne), convicted of kicking in the glass door of Oregon’s capital as a right wing mob attempted to storm it in the weeks leading up to January 6, 2021. Shortly afterwards, he assaulted a reporter who had filmed him.
—Skylor Jernigan (a.k.a. Luke Masters), a frequent attendee of Patriot Prayer events who fired a handgun out of his vehicle at a BLM protest in 2020.
—Cory Fredrickson, who plowed his truck through a protest in Salem in 2021 and came within inches of running someone over.
—David Willis, a frequent and enthusiastic participant in violence at right wing rallies in the Willamette Valley.
—Audra Price (a.k.a. Audra Ann), who organized the violent right wing rally in downtown Portland on August 22, 2020.
Kelly also says in those comments that she will try to get Derek to bring one of his private security employees with him.
KELLY GLADEN IS A CHRISTIAN NATIONALIST
Kelly and Derek self-identify as Christian Nationalists, and are members of Knights Templar International (KTI)—a militant Christian Nationalist hate group. Kelly frequently uses the phrase “Deus Vult“, a slogan from the crusades that has come to be adopted by far right and Chrisitan Nationalist groups.
As far as we can tell KTI’s activity mostly seems to be spreading online propaganda, but it is noteworthy that Anders Breivik — the neo nazi who killed 77 people in a 2011 terrorist attack in Norway — also claims to be associated with Knights Templar (although it isn’t clear if he meant the specific organization Kelly and Derek belong to).
Kelly and Derek’s concept of militant Christianity was on full display on July 13, 2024, during the “Jesus March” in downtown Portland. While the vast majority of attendees seemed to be normal conservative Christians, Kelly and Derek showed up looking — and dressed for — a fight. With them were David Willis and a number of Proud Boys including Nate Cisneros.
When these people go out looking for a fight, they usually find someone to start one with. In this case, there were a handful of protesters standing off to the side of the event. After a verbal confrontation initiated by Kelly and Derek’s crew, Nate Cisneros began punching and grabbing people (video here). Nate and David Willis then began bear spraying indiscriminately, hitting some children who were at the event, as well as Kelly (video here, with Kelly right in between them).
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Kelly Gladen and Derek Chambers are bigoted, far right extremeists with a propensity for violence and a particular hatred of LGBTQ people. They are a threat to the community, and need to face consequences for their actions. You can help by notifying their employers of their bigotry and their involvement in having pride and drag events cancelled.
Kelly works as a baggage handler for McGee Air Services, at the Portland Airport. Please contact both McGee and the airport — let them know that Kelly has been repeatedly attempting to intimidate local pride events into cancelling, even going so far as to publicly invite the Proud Boys to protest those events with her. By allowing her to remain employed at the airport, both McGee and the airport are passively endorsing her actions as well as making the airport a less safe and inclusive place.

Derek Chambers is a private armed security guard, license number 090386 with DPSST (Oregon’s licensing body for security guards — he is not currently licensed in Washington).
Given Derek’s frequent attendance at far right rallies, and his own bigoted beliefs regarding LGBTQ people, his licensure as an armed security guard is unacceptable. As described above, at the recent “Jesus March”, he wore his entire security getup — despite not even working that event in an official capacity — in an attempt to intimidate people who he disagrees with.
